Carla Melucci Ardito
Carla Melucci Ardito graduated from NYU, and then as a yoga teacher at the Integral Yoga Institute in NYC. Since then she has focused and devoted her studies and work to mind-body healing, the science of the breath and its relationship to our overall wellbeing. She has worked with doctors and physical therapists and is beholden to her teachers Sri Swami Satchidananda, Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen and Julie Motz just to name a few. She can be heard from time to time on the Sirius Radio show “Doctor Radio”. She teaches throughout the city and writes for Elephant Journal and the Health and Fitness section of The Huffington Post. Carla has been helping people explore the relationship between the body and breath for more than 20 years. Inspired by her own healing and by her ability to facilitate healing in others, Carla created the app “Breathing Lessons” which was voted by Apple as one of the Best New Apps in the Health and Fitness category.
